Wolverhampton Tips: Little Eli
Front-runner who didn’t see out a strongly run 6f last time drops back in trip.
Little Eli has one running style and that is flat out from the start. Occasionally this means he can go off too fast and curl up at this finish, as he did on his last start.
Attempting 6f for only the second time in his career, he got tired in the last couple of furlongs. His finishing speed of 98.2% means he was slowing down and he was overhauled in the last 150 yards.
Connections have parked that experiment for now and he returns to his optimal 5f trip in the 5.45 Wolverhampton.
Expect Neil Farley to try dominate this small field and if he gets a soft lead he might be difficult to peg back.
