Wolverhampton Tips: Kodafine
Ran as well as could be expected after trying to match strides with an 87 rated horse.
Only in claimers can you lose by 7.25 lengths but still hold your head up high.
It happened to Kodafine when she found herself up against 80, 87 and 90 rated horses at Kempton last time.
To her credit she tried to make a race of it, matching strides with the 87 rated Trojan Rocket until the unrelenting gallop eventually meant she caved in with 300 yards to go.
Returned to her natural level, a 0-65 handicap, she should be able to set her own tempo. Avertor boosted the form with a decent performance on Wednesday and at 16/1 (Bet365) she is overpriced.
