Wolverhampton Tips: King Of Eden

11lbs below his last winning mark but starting to hit form again. Gave the progressive Holiday Magic a good race at Kempton last time.

King Of Eden has worked himself down to a winnable mark and after a quiet season he’s starting to find some form again.

The 8-year-old hasn’t lost by more than 2.5 lengths on his last two starts and he is the type of horse to string together several good runs once he reaches his peak.

Last time out at Kempton he tracked a generous pace and the final 3f finishing speed of 97.8% was significantly below par.

The winner, Holiday Magic, was completing a hat-trick and Charlie Appleby’s charge will probably rate much higher than 78 by the end of his career.

Under the circumstances, Kind Of Eden did exceptionally well to make a race of it and only finish 2.5 lengths behind the Godolphin runner.

With John Egan in the saddle, horse and jockey could be a profitable combination at 5/1 (Ladbrokes).
