Wolverhampton Tips: Dandilion
Desperately unlucky on last two starts. Strong traveller, who has run sectionals that suggest she is better than a 55-rated horse.
If it wasn’t for bad luck, Dandilion wouldn’t have any luck at all. Two starts back a winning run was curtailed by interference and last time out she was poorly positioned in a steadily run race.
The 4-year-old is one of the more lightly raced individuals in the 6.45 Wolverhampton and if either of her last two runs are a fair representation of her ability, then she is much better than a mark of 55.
Last time out she clocked a 22.99s closing sectional, 0.45s faster than anything else in the race. Unfortunately, the winner got first run but despite still being a maiden she was the moral victor on her last two starts. Dandilion travels like a useful sprinter and if Callum Shepherd can stay out of trouble, the pair should win the race.
