Wolverhampton Tips: Cambodia
Has run rapid closing sectionals on his last two starts (21.76s at Lingfield) but let the winner get first run on both occasions.
Cambodia has finished runner-up in his two starts to date but there must be a win in him. Twice he’s been undone by a steady gallop over a possibly inadequate 7f trip.
Last time out he was desperately unlucky to go down by 0.25 lengths when he let the winner get first run. He ran a rapid closing sectional of 21.76s and would have got up in another 20 yards.
It was a similar story on his debut, again travelling strongly he flew home off a steady pace but couldn’t quite reel in the winner.
His two performances have earned adjusted speed ratings of 69-75, he is going in the right direction and should win the 4.30 Wolverhampton.
