Wolverhampton Tip: Zylan
Big price for an impressive winner last time out. Has to prove himself on Tapeta but cantered to an easy win at Southwell. Recorded a fast closing sectional and good overall speed rating.
Zylan is pigeon-holed as a Fibresand specialist and certainly his best performances have come at Southwell but given the impressive manner of his victory last time he should not be 18/1.
Roger Fell’s sprinter cruised through the race and was an easy winner but more importantly put up a big speed figure with seemingly very little effort. He was the fastest closer in the race by 0.3s and earned an adjusted speed rating of 85 and RPR of 98.
He is potentially well treated off a mark of 93 and although the witch to Tapeta is something of an unknown and the draw isn’t great he shouldn’t be the rank outsider.
