Wolverhampton Tip: Peachey Carnehan

Overcame a slow start to win in a fast time for the grade six days ago. Still below his highest winning mark and should land the hat-trick.

Peachey Carnehan is looking to land the hat-trick in the 1.45 Wolverhampton and despite a 6lbs penalty he should win. A previous course and distance winner off a mark of 70, he’s still potentially well treated off 62 and he is bang in-form.

Last time out he overcame a slow start to win by 1.75 lengths, finishing strongly off a solid gallop. His winning time was good for the grade as he earned an adjusted speed rating of 63. That is usually good enough to win most class 6 handicaps, especially if we get another truly run race.
