Wolverhampton Tip: Pattie
Won in this grade three starts back and had excuses for poor performances since. Muddling pace over a mile last time didn't play to her strengths.
The 7.45 Wolverhampton is a good fillies handicap and i’m surprised Pattie is one of the outsiders considering she scored at this level only three starts back. Her price is down to two poor performances in a row after that win but both were excusable.
On 29 January she was beaten by 21 lengths but her final closing sectional was much slower than par and indicative of something going amiss. Whatever the problem it wasn’t serious as she returned 11 days later at Chelmsford. She finished 4/5 that day but it was a really muddling affair with no pace.
This evening she drops back to 7f and a return to the form she showed at Lingfield (only 3lbs higher) would put her in the mix.
