Wolverhampton Tip: Meandmyshadow

Meandmyshadow has been a hardy campaigner over the years, with 115 starts under her belt and 15 wins. Her last victory came around this time last year on the all-weather and off a 7lbs lower mark she can win again in a lower grade.

Last time out she raced nearer the stand’s side than ideal. Newcastle’s straight track is hard to judge, the sectionals don’t always make sense and the draw bias doesn’t come through in my figures but visually (and this isn’t rigorous) being drawn high seems to be a disadvantage.

Despite this Meandmyshadow finished a close fourth and previously finished twice runner-up on turf. She is drawn wide again but Wolverhampton is a fair track and witha 4-17 strike rate in class 6 company, she can win again.
