Wolverhampton Tip: Jorvik Prince

This is his grade, his surface and his time of year. Can be difficult to pass if getting an uncontested lead and underrated by the market.

Jorvik Prince’s four wins have come in November, December or January. All have been on the all-weather and all in class 6 handicaps. Exactly the conditions he faces in the 5.30 Wolverhampton.

Karen Tutty’s sprinter is a straight-foward horse; he needs an easy lead and when getting one he is difficult to beat. His chances are therefore influenced by what the other riders do in this race. Given his price and his lack of recent form they may just ignore him but they do so at their own peril. This is low-grade stuff and Jorvik Prince knows how to win.
