Wolverhampton Tip: Indigo Princess
Missed the turf season but has run well returned to the all-weather including when a close second last time out.
Indigo Princess was just touched off when tipped at Chelmsford last time but she was the clear second best horse on the day and can make amends in the 4.10 Wolverhampton.
One of three 3-year-olds in the line-up, she is very lightly raced after missing the entire turf season. On her return, she was only beaten 2.75 lengths in a fair race at Wolverhampton and built on it with a second place at Chelmsford.
Her closing sectional was second fastest by 0.47s and was unfortunate to bump into Makhfar who capitalised on a generous handicap mark.
Michael Appleby has been short of winners recently but his horses are running well and Indigo Princess can turn a run of seconds into a victory.
