Wolverhampton Tip: Grey Destiny
Running career bests at the age of eight. Speed figures suggest he is still ahead of his mark and has run some outstanding closing sectionals.
It’s seems inexplicable that Grey Destiny is hitting his peak at the age of eight but that is what it says in the form book. He’s won his last two starts over course and distance, his most recent off a career high mark of 61 and the speed figures back up the form.
On his last two starts he’s run adjusted speed figures of 66 and 69 both times running the fastest closing sectional. On the 7 November he was the fastest closer by 0.50s and on the 13 December he was the fastest closer by 0.69s.
On the hunt for a hat-trick, he actually drops down in grade back into class 6 competition. His mark of 65 is still below recent speed figures and he’s worth following in this purple patch.
