Wolverhampton Tip: Carolinae

A small but select group of fillies line up for the 6.30 Wolverhampton and at the odds I like the chances of Carolinae. She shaped well on her return from a 5-month absence finishing a close third behind Stellar Surprise. She probably needed the run and wasn’t helped by the pedestrain early gallop. However, a closing sectional of 23.17s, the second fastest in the race gives plenty of cause for optimism.

She has an excellent strike-rate of 4/12 on the all-weather and is a two-time winner in this grade. She is off a reasonable mark and is at her best at this trip.
