Strong traveller who has been delivering his potent turn of foot (at this level) from too far back. From stall 1 he might be able to race more handily and this isn't the toughest race.
Surewecan joined UK training ranks late into his career but the 10-year-old can win a small race like this one. So far this winter he has finished 5255 but he’s travelled strongly in each of his race but lost them by virtue of sitting too far off the pace.
It might be that he simply doesn’t have the early speed to retain a position but from stall 1, this will be his best chance. His sectionals have always shown him to have a good finishing burst and hopefully he will be close enough to strike.
Sarah Hollinshead had a winner on Boxing Day and she might be able to bag another at a price.
