Wolverhampton: Sound And Silence
Worse off at the weights with Corinthia Knight but two lengths better off at the Breeders' Cup and has the stronger form.
Corinthia Knight finished a couple of lengths behind Sound And Silence and although there is a 7lbs pull in the weights i’m not convinced it will be enough to reverse the placings.
The Godolphin horse has no race experience of an artificial surface but Charlie Appleby wouldn’t have entered him in this race if it were an issue. Appleby has a 31% strike rate (56-179) at Wolverhampton and his charge hasn’t finished outside the top-2 on his last five starts.
Sound And Silence has the stronger back form and is too big a price just because he hasn’t won at Wolverhampton before. After-all how many times does a 100+ rated horse run at the track?
