Wolverhampton: Q Twenty Boy
Maiden after 17 starts but several good efforts at this track and some unlucky. On the clock he is good enough to win a class 6 handicap and everything looks exposed and beatable.
A record of 0 wins after 17 starts might put most people of Q Twenty Boy but I don’t think there’s anything wrong with his attitude. His hold-up style of racing can make him a frustrating individual to watch but eventually a race will fall his way and this is a poor one.
Outside of his novice days, Q Twenty Boy’s record at Wolverhampton is 322 and his speed ratings are good enough to win in this grade and off this sort of mark. Stall 5, gives Jason Watson a chance to stay in touch if pinging the lids (not likely but possible) and the big field should generate a pace to aim at. I think he’s the most likely winner.
