Wolverhampton: Mums Tipple
Won at Listed race over 7f at the track but has the speed for 6f. Wasn't beaten far in the Golden Rose Stakes and that sets the standard. Well drawn in stall 2 and this a more suitable track.
Mums Tipple will forever be judged against his monster performance at York as a juvenile but he’s still got plenty of ability and can win more races. He is a Listed course winner over 7f and although back in trip it shouldn’t be a problem given he has won and placed over the trip this year on turf.
He is closely matched with Exalted Angel when finishing behind Summerghand at Lingfield in November. That sets the standard and from stall 2 he should be seen to better effect on this less sharp track.
