Wolverhampton: Kingsholm

Ran a fast time for the grade when taking a class 6 handicap at this track in August. Up in grade and down in trip but has a couple of big speed figures to his name and lightly raced.

Kingsholm is a lightly raced individual and if you can forgive his flop at Kempton then he is worthy of interest. When he won at Wolverhampton in August, he did so in a very fast time for the grade and backed it up with another good speed figure at Kempton. Before his one below par effort which can be attributed to a poor draw and a wide trip.

At Wolverhampton he drops back to 5f for the first time but he is a strong traveller (usually up with the pace) and should be able to live with the speed. He’s with an excellent trainer of sprinters and the combination of price and potential make him an enticing prospect.
