Found carrying 10-4 just beyond him at Kempton but lost nothing in defeat. Up in grade but carrying less weight is the way to go and is still unbeaten over 5f.
Howzak failed to land the four-timer at Kempton but lost nothing in defeat. Carrying 10-4 was always a big ask and eventually the weight was too much of a burden as he ran out of gas in the last 100 yards.
This evening he can get back on the winning trail. He drops back to 5f (which I think is his best trip) plus carrying 9-4 is much more reasonable. He has stepped up in a grade and therefore races against better horses but his speed rating 72 last time was a career best and he is plenty good enough to win at this level.
