Wolverhampton: Brazen Belle

Unfancied in the market but an easy winner three starts back and only horse with a course and distance win under her belt. Well drawn and could steal this from the front.

Colin Teague doesn’t send out many flat winners but he might have a chance with Brazen Belle in the 8.00 Wolverhampton. Sarah’s Verse heads the market but looks vulnerable; she never won off a mark this high, is 0/9 on the all-weather and all her victories have come over 5.5f at Bath.

Brazen Belle is the only course and distance winner in the field and you only have to go back three starts to find her last win, a facile victory in an amateur contest. Her front running style lends itself to a low draw and if she gets an easy lead she might be hard to peg back.
