Wolverhampton: Big Lachie

Big Lachie might only be a 3-year-old but he’s got plenty of experience under his belt, this being his 25th career start. Two victories during that time tempers enthusiasm somewhat but he’s won off a higher mark before and should be suited by a return to 6f.

On his last couple of starts over 5f at Newcastle he’s been outpaced early before staying on. When he finished second behind Casterbridge he clocked the fastest closing sectional by 0.32s and earned an adjusted speed rating of 71.

His performances are screaming out for 6f and his course and distance record is an encouraging 317. He should go well again.
