Windsor: Triggered
Ran consistently well last season without getting his head in front. Starts the new season off a 9lbs lower mark and well drawn.
I had several punts on Triggered last season, with the money going stray each time but fundamentally I think we have a well-handicapped sprinter who can win very soon.
Triggered ran well on his seasonal debut at Haydock, finishing fourth behind Aljady in a good time for the grade. He ran consistently thereafter without troubling the judge. He makes his seasonal reappearance off a 9lbs lower mark and with a good draw and suitable underfoot conditions.
It might be that he needs to drop into class 4 company to win but in what looks a wide open sprint i’m willing to back him on the best of last season’s form.
