Windsor Tips: Swift Blade
Horse has gone well for amateurs before (two wins and a second) and ran well over course and distance earlier in season.
The 4.50 Windsor might not look a good betting event but in Swift Blade we have a lively contender.
His recent form is poor but he shouldn’t be judged too harshly on his 30-length last time because it came over 2-miles which is beyond is stamina limitations.
Arguably, his best performance of the season came at today’s course and distance when he was only beaten two lengths and a return to Windsor augers well.
This afternoon he races in a class 6 handicap for the first time in his career and his record in amateur race (with a different jockey) is 211.
