Impressive fifth after chasing an overly strong gallop at Newmarket. Recorded a good speed rating despite the pace collapse.
Mehronissa finished fifth in a hot handicap at Newmarket last time and shouldn’t be underestimated in the 7.00 Windsor.
She earned a Topspeed rating of 70 but the race was run at a furious gallop, 96.6% race finishing speed compared to a par of 98.1%, which affected the overall times.
If we adjust for the overly strong pace, Mehronissa ran a speed rating of approximately 94. That means she is potentially very well-handicapped racing off a mark of 77.
A drop in trip shouldn’t inconvenience her (she pulled hard over 7f) and if handling the ground she should win at 4/1 (Stan James).
