Windsor Tips: King Calypso
Did nothing but improve last year and still off a workable handicap mark.
King Calypso was a rapidly improving horse at the back-end of 2014 and there could be more to come on his return after a 179-day break.
Last year he won four times and even though he finished second on his last start I don’t think the handicapper has caught up with him yet.
King Calypso was unlucky to bump into a progressive Godolphin horse at Kempton and letting him get first run off a steady pace didn’t help either.
We don’t know how strong that form is because the winner pulled-up next time but the race produced a good speed rating and the overall impression was positive.
