Windsor Tips: Just Marion
Previous course and distance winner who has raced against stiff opposition of late and will find life easier down in grade.
Horses with a wide variety in ratings contest the 6.05 Windsor but claimers don’t often go to plan and there could be a surprise in store.
Just Marion has failed to win in her last three starts but she has run well in elevated company.
Last time out she was beaten 4.75 lengths by Harry Hurricane who is now rated 97. Before that she ran an even better race when 3.5 lengths behind Apache Storm at Southwell.
The overall time was good for the grade and her closing sectional was on a par with the winner, who is now rated 90.
Even though this isn’t a handicap there is a good case to suggest Just Marion is better than her bare rating.
She is a previous course and distance winner and is underestimated at 11/1 (Bet365).
