Windsor Tip: D'bai
Unexposed at sprint distances and was unlucky last time at Meydan when racing away from the main protagonists. Travelled strongly that day and could be a smart prospect.
The Tin Man is the hot favourite for the 7.45 Windsor and it’s easy to see why. He is a dual Group 1 winner and took this race off a similair length break in 2016. However, his price puts me off.
D’bai is the dark horse in the race. He broke the 7f track record in Meydan this winter so he’s clearly a smart individual and he’s still unexposed at sprinting. Fourth behind Jungle Cat last time out, he was inconvenienced by racing away from the leaders but travelled notably strongly through the contest.
If The Tin Man fails to bring his best, then D’bai could spring a minor surprise.
