Windsor Tip: Angel Alexander

Second three times as a two-year-old but impressed on the clock. Beaten 5 lengths at Chester on seasonal return but tracked strong pace in good quality handicap. This is easier.

Angel Alexander weakened on his seasonal debut at Chester but there were valid excuses. It was his first run in 188-days but more pertinently, he tracked a very strong pace in sticky ground. His closing speed was 94.4% of his overall speed and the pace collapse exacerbated the margin of defeat. It is also worth noting that the race at Chester was a good quality handicap and the 5.45 Windsor is much easier on paper.

Angel Alexander earned an adjusted speed rating 74 at Chester and he impressed on the clock as a juvenile, finishing second in all three starts last season. He is up to winning a handicap of this quality.
