Windsor: Glamorous Anna

Was going to score over course and distance last month (traded 1.01 in-running) until clipping the rail just before finish. Unlucky but ran a good adjusted speed rating in defeat.

Glamorous Anna must be considered an unlucky loser. Last time out she traded 1.01 in-running when clipping the rail and losing her stride right before the finish. The handicapper has put her up 3lbs to compound the issue but she’s good enough to win in this grade.

Last season connections tried to stretch her stamina to 6f but given her bright early speed she looks better suited to the minimum trip. At Windsor she earned a sectional adjusted rating of 76 so she doesn’t need to improve much (or at all) to win in this grade. Being a 3-year-old filly she gets weight from her rivals and has a useful claimer on board to further lighten the load. She should run well.
