Best form is with cut in the ground and has run well in a better grade. Kept away from fast summer ground, this looks ideal and Tyler Heard takes off a useful 7lbs.
Lyons Lane is looking to complete a four-timer in the 1.40 Windsor and she stand’s a good chance but she might be outclassed by Bellevarde. The 6-year-old has performed well in a better grade and often her best runs coming in testing conditions.
She’s been lightly raced this summer, probably staying away from the quick ground but it’s no coincidence to see her arrive at the same time as the rain. Three of her biggest speed ratings (in the high 70s) have come on soft/heavy ground and although times become more unreliable on these surfaces there is a definite trend.
She is near the top of her mark but Tyler Heard is good value for his 7lbs and that makes her a more attractive bet.
