Victory Stitched Up For Seamster
Wide margin winner on his last start and clocked a good time for the grade to confirm his well-being.
After Seamster’s comprehensive victory three weeks ago, trainer Richard Ford said the horse seemed to be getting quicker and that is reflected in his speed ratings.
Two starts back at Kempton he was the only horse who came close to derailing the Barney Curley coup, when he got within half a length of Indus Valley.
On his next start at Lingfield he dominated proceedings winning by 3.5 lengths, in a good time for the grade.
He got a soft lead that day and was potentially flattered by the margin of victory but the time stands up to scrutiny and he could boss a weak field again.
