Edward Greatrex has a 44% strike rate (7-16) in apprentice races and Oasis Spirit shaped well last time out.
The 5.25 Salisbury is a moderate apprentice handicap but there are a couple of interesting angles to exploit.
Oasis Spirit has only won once in 15 starts but she shaped with promise at Wolverhampton in a much higher grade in February. She finished last of five but was only beaten 3.25 lengths and ran the third fastest closing sectional in a very slowly run race.
This afternoon Edward Greatrex takes the ride and he is a young jockey to keep an eye on. He has a 19% (9-47) strike rate this year, which improves to 44% (7-16) in apprentice races only.
