That’s Mustard
Much improved since moving to William Muir and still ahead of the handicapper judged on his latest effort.
Hot Mustard has been a big improver since moving to William Muir from Michael Bell in the spring. In his last five s starts he has finished 22122 with Racing Post Ratings of 62-68-74-75-77.
The 5-year-old ran a career best in defeat at Windsor last time and was slightly unlucky to lose by a head. He tracked an overly strong pace (100.6% finishing speed vs par of 105.8%) and did well to last out as long as he did.
On my figures he ran an adjusted speed rating of 81, not dissimilar to his Racing Post Rating.
In the 8.25 Sandown he races off a mark of 71 and looks ahead of the handicapper. At 3/1 (Bet365) he is a good bet.
