Tanawar Can Go One Better
Last time out he hit the front too soon, finishing second having traded 1.18 in-running.
Tanawar finished a heartbreaking second when we tipped him last time at Ayr. Travelling like the best horse for much of the race, he perhaps hit the front too soon and was nabbed on the line.
He traded 1.18 in-running and looked the most likely winner for most of the race.
This afternoon he is looking for compensation in the 5.40 Ayr and although he steps up to a mile, he’s run well over this distance before.
Sonya Brotherton has ridden him before, so understand his quirks and she has a tremendous 27% strike rate (7-26) when riding for Ruth Carr.
At 5/1 (Paddy Power) we have an excellent bet.
