Take The Mickey
Run twice since being gelded and showed promise on both starts. Beaten 0.75 lengths in a good time for the grade last time out.
Mickey finished 11th in a very similar race over course and distance in early December but there are several reason why we can expect an improvement on that run. For starters he was only beaten 5 lengths and it was his first start in two months after being gelded.
He stepped up on that effort when a close fourth at Kempton 16 days ago. Subject to support beforehand, he put up a decent fight and clocked a good speed rating for the grade.
Lightly raced and now tried in a visor, he could outrun his odds.
