Swiss Clockwork
Swiss Cross ran an excellent time in defeat at Epsom and Silvestre De Sousa is an eye-catching booking having won on him before.
Swiss Cross is 7lbs below his last winning mark and despite his advancing years he can still be competitive at a class 4 level.
Last time out he showed his customary turn of foot to run the fastest closing sectional at Epsom in a steadily run 7f contest.
What was already a good time for the grade gets a sectional upgrade to a mark of 81, which is good enough to win a class 4 handicap.
The red-hot Silvestre De Sousa takes the ride and having finished first and second on Swiss Cross previously, a big run can be expected in the 7.35 Newmarket.
