Swift Blade Better On AW
Left with too much to do by his amateur jockey last time. Three time winner on the all-weather in this grade.
Swift Blade’s last three wins have come on the all-weather and after his near miss at Windsor twelve days ago his is the obvious selection to win the 4.35 Wolverhampton.
Having unseated his rider on the way to post, he then started slowly and was left in rear, in a race not run at a particularly strong gallop.
Despite travelling well throughout, his rider left it too late and he couldn’t bridge the gap to the leaders, despite gaining two lengths in the final 3f.
His three wins on the all-weather all came in this grade and if Clifford Lee can keep him in touch his finishing burst should be too strong.
