Sunbaked Getting Ever Closer
Has finished 24 in two starts at 7f looking slightly unlucky both times. Well drawn in stall 1.
Thirteen days ago it looked like our tip Sunbaked was going to collect, unfortunately her run just flattened out and she was beaten in a blanket finish having traded 1.7 in running.
There is a good chance she may have won if ridden more prominently and it was a similar story when she finished second on the 18 November. Again racing in rear, she was forced to weave through the pack and just failed, despite running the fastest closing sectional in the race by 0.6s.
Her last two starts at 7f have been encouraging and from a stall 1, I expect Tom Queally will keep her closer to the pace. This is her grade and she can win at 8/1 (Skybet).
