Stewards' Sprint: Power Over Me
Disqualified at Epsom for weighing in light but was clearly best horse. Been banging in big speed ratings since turn of year and mark of 90 still workable.
Power Over Me is a sprinter I followed over the winter on the all-weather and his profile suggests he can emulate Treacherous and win a big turf sprint handicap. If it wasn’t for weighing in 2lbs light, he’d already have a turf win to his name, having routed the field over 6f at Epsom.
Since the turn of the year Power Over Me has won 5 races (should be 6) but his speed ratings suggest the handicapper hasn’t caught up with him - a mark of 90 still underrates him. He’ll need some luck but he is tactically versatile and a very good sprinter.
