Squeeze Out Another Victory
Returned from a 7-month lay-off to finish a nose second at Chelmsford in a race that lowered the course record.
Spanish Squeeze put in a heroic performance on his first run in seven months when beaten a nose by Bancnuanaheireann.
The first two enjoyed a ding-dong battle up the home straight pulling 5 lengths clear of the third placed horse and lowering the course record.
Considering Spanish Squeeze was giving away a fitness advantage to the battle hardened Bancnuanaheireann his performance can be upgraded.
He is still lightly raced (this only his fifth start) and the big speed rating he earned at Chelmsford suggests he is Listed class and can win the 6.45 Kempton.
