Sprint Cup Tip: Tasleet
Runner-up last year and record on soft/heavy going is 212 with two of those performances at Group 1 level. Been absent for 105-days but price more than compensates.
Tasleet finished second in this race a year ago and although he arrives after a more problematic build-up he is worth the risk. Well-drawn in the centre of the track, he will also enjoy the easy in the ground. His record on going rated soft or heavy is 212 with those races being a Group 1, Group 2 and Group 1.
A classy performer when conditions in his favour the only question mark is he well-being. He ran well when last seen at the Curragh in late May but there’s been nothing since. That uncertainty is built into the price otherwise he’d be nearer the 9/2 mark.
