Southwell Tips: River Dreamer
Less exposed than many in the line-up and has run two good races in a row on the Fibresand.
The 3.40 Southwell is a low quality handicap but River Dreamer is less exposed than most of her rivals and might have the necessary improvement to win a race of this calibre.
Two starts back she did well to finish second, when un-fancied at 50/1. Her performance wasn’t a fluke because the speed rating was decent for the grade and she finished strongly despite the gallop not being flat-out.
Last time she ran another good race to finish fourth from a poor draw. She lacks a little bit of early speed therefore a step up to 7f makes sense and at 11/1 (Betfred) this race might not take much winning.
