Southwell Tips: River Dreamer
Working her way back to form after a long absence in 2014. Ran well against a progressive rival last time out.
The 2.00 Southwell won’t take much winning and although River Dreamer has stall 11 to contend with she ran well at track twelve days ago.
Racing in rear after a slow start, she found herself poorly positioned in a Southwell race that unusually, wasn’t run at a flat out gallop.
She could never reel in the well-handicapped winner but she stayed on with promise to finish a clear second and deserving of a small upgrade.
This will be her fourth run after a lengthy break and she seems to have recovered from the problem that sidelined her for a large chunk of 2014.
Robert Stephens doesn’t have many winners but at 12/1 (Bet365) she isn’t without hope.
