Southwell Tips: Razin' Hell
Has won 7 times from 21 starts on the Fibresand including in this class. Been slightly unlucky this winter, often finding himself hassled for the lead.
Razin’ Hell has been running well without getting his head in-front and the 3.05 could be when he scores again. The 7-year-old has a terrific strike rate on the Fibresand winning a third of his races (7/21) including a valuable win over course and distance in this class on New Year’s Day 2017.
He couldn’t quite repeat the feat twelve months later finishing a neck behind Midnight Malibu but he’s been a bit unlucky of late. All his races have been characterised by a very strong early gallop and although that is the nature of the track, Razin’ Hell has been forced to work hard for the lead.
If his rivals ease off him in the early stages ever so slightly, then he could keep enough in reserve to hold off the closers and win.
