Southwell Tips: Captain Scooby
Well drawn for a horse with his running style and should be able to win off a low mark.
Dancing Freddy is a dubious favourite and must be taken on in the 3.25 Southwell.
He finished second when everything was in his favour last week and lumbered with a poor draw , he’ll do very well to win.
There is plenty of pace in the race and it could set up for a closer. Drawn wide in stall 1, Captain Scooby will be able to race away from the kickback and enjoy an uninterrupted run to the line.
The 8-year-old doesn’t have a particular good all-weather record but he handles the fibresand and should be able to capitalise off a career low mark at 8/1 (William Hill).
