Novabridge is yet to win at Southwell but he’s finished second twice in four starts and 13 wins from 78 career starts is a decent strike-rate for a moderate sprint handicapper.

With 9 wins in 46 starts at at class 6 level, he is at worst a 4/1 shot in this grade and available at bigger odds with the bookmakers.

Last time out he was second over course and distance but stall 1 isn’t a good draw in a big field over 5f and he raced near the far rail, often the slowest part of the track, particularly on the straight course. Stall 5 is better and he should go close.
