Southwell Tip: Loulin

Fourth last time from stall 10 in race where three lowest drawn horses filled first three positions. Winner over course and distance two starts back and could return to that form from better draw.

The draw bias (if any) is a moveable feast on Southwell’s straight track. Moreover, it is where you are positioned relative to the pace/race that results in a ‘good’ or ‘bad’ draw. We therefore must take each case on it’s merits and Loulin was a bit unlucky last time out.

Drawn in stall 10 he raced away from the action and ultimately did well to finish fourth in a race where the three lowest drawn horses finished 1-2-3.

Stall 3 is potentially a better draw and we could see a return to form that saw him win over course and distance two starts back, in what was a fair time given the grade.
