Southwell Tip: Jasi

The 3.15 Southwell has only attracted four runners but poses an interesting conundrum. Magic Pulse and Samovar carry the best recent form into the race but the speed ratings they have been putting up aren’t anything special and i’m more taken by the chances of Jasi.

A previous course and distance winner, he put up a solid speed rating when winning on debut last April. He’s not been back to Southwell since but course form and good times repeat well at the track.

He’s also having his first start for Ivan Furtado, who has been flying this winter. The yard are 10/57 over the past three months, with their runners producing a level stakes profit over the period. Jasi can add to the tally.
