Southwell Tip: Crosse Fire
Multiple course and distance and winner who is starting to look well handicapped. Not beaten far last time out.
Crosse Fire hasn’t been at his best this winter but he is a multiple course and distance winner and is down to a winnable mark. On his last two starts over 5f at Southwell he’s finished behind Archimedes and Something Lucky, he faces both again today but he’s better off at the weights.
Crosse Fire was only beaten 0.75 lengths last time out and perhaps raced closer to the stand’s side than is ideal, whilst the winner raced nearer the more favourable centre of the track.
Luke Morris takes the ride and has finished 12 when teaming up with Crosse Fire at Southwell.
