Signore Piccolo Looks Big
Form has dipped recently but on his Pontefract run he looks well capable of taking this race.
Signore Piccolo has put in a couple of moderate displays recently but if bouncing back to the form he showed at Pontefract he has a big chance in the 4.00 Catterick.
At Pontefract he finished a closed second to Yeeoow, earning a good speed rating for the grade. He was slightly unlucky that day because he raced further back than ideal and suffered trouble in-running.
He was well beaten on his next two starts, with a possible excuse at Haydock because of the draw.
His form over the years has been inconsistent but he is a previous course and distance winner and from a decent draw he looks a good bet at 15/2 (William Hill).
*Returned at an 8/1 SP.
